Chart provenance

What the visuals show — and do not show

Finviz daily images: the five U.S. images for HPE, DELL, NTAP, TSM, and SMTC are genuine, unmodified 466 × 219 Finviz captures frozen through September 11, 2026. They are daily-reference images, not invented intraday candles and not a claim about a later quote.

European daily charts: Soitec, Fortum, and Neste use in-house Finviz-style daily charts in EUR, displayed from June 1 through September 11, 2026. Each 1600 × 900 image uses native-listing daily OHLCV through September 11, actual daily volume, and SMA 20/50/200 calculated on longer stored history: 283 returned sessions for SOI.PA and 280 for FORTUM.HE and NESTE.HE.

The only non-market overlays are plan levels: SOI.PA 143.15 / 145.30 / 148.75; FORTUM.HE 24.10 / 24.74 / 25.02; and NESTE.HE 33.33 / 33.79 with a shaded 30.71–30.84 zone. They are labeled plan levels, not automatically derived trend lines, support, resistance, or patterns. No trendline is drawn because no sourced two-point rule exists.

The daily EUR bars came from marketdata.QueryData(types=bars_daily, adjusted=false), requested from August 1, 2025 through the completed September 11, 2026 session; provenance records Yahoo as source and upstream source. Fortum and Neste returned completed, high-quality, full requested coverage. Soitec returned 283 real bars through September 11, but its source-quality status is partial/insufficient because Euronext session coverage is incomplete. Its SMA values are calculated only from returned bars, including its available 200-session history.

Indexed comparison

XLE, SOXX, GRID, and QQQ use raw closes indexed to 100 on the first of their 34 exact common sessions, July 27, with no interpolation. The comparison ends on September 11; it is a relative price-path comparison, not a total-return portfolio or forecast.

Correlation matrix

The matrix is Pearson correlation of simple daily returns, closeₜ / closeₜ₋₁ − 1, using 61 common closes and 60 returns from June 16 to September 11 for HPE, DELL, NTAP, TSM, SMTC, and QQQ. XLE, SOXX, and GRID are excluded because their local histories do not meet the 61-close requirement. Historical co-movement does not set future correlation or portfolio risk.

Execution boundary

Preparation is not an order

The five swing dossiers still require a maximum entry, structural stop, objectives, holding period, and Fed YES/NO choice. The account state is not validated here, so there is no proposed quantity. An absent Fed choice blocks a new entry crossing the event; it does not create an automatic sale of an existing position.
